UTV Baby IdentUTV’s new brand goes live on air this Monday morning at 6am, with a fresh look and feel which firmly positions UTV as part of the ITV family.
Spearheaded in-house by ITV Creative in conjunction with the UTV Creative team, UTV Live News’ identity has also been completely revamped in keeping with the ITV News network.

Terry Brennan, Head of News and Programmes at UTV said: “ITV is committed to investing significantly in UTV to provide viewers with a high quality news, current affairs and regional programming service. We recognise that UTV’s brand heritage is exceptionally strong in Northern Ireland which is reflected by its market leading position. This is something we wanted to build upon when the channel joined ITV, keeping the strong connection with the UTV audience, but clearly positioning UTV as part of ITV, the UK’s largest and most successful commercial broadcaster.

“As part of our significant investment in UTV news, we will be moving to new state of the art premises in Belfast. This will happen in early 2018, once suitable centrally located premises are agreed, and will see our new HD studios become the most modern in Europe and fit for our future broadcasting requirements. In addition we have completely revamped our facilities at Stormont to support our new weekly politics programme View from Stormont which starts tonight at 10.45pm.”
