U&Eden is now available on free TV platforms Freeview and Freesat. On Freeview, U&Eden has launched on channel 57, but it is only accessible to viewers with Freeview Play or Freeview HD receivers. Meanwhile, U&Dave Ja Vu, the timeshift channel of U&Dave, has moved to channel 74, replacing U&Yesterday+1.

On Freesat, U&Eden can now be found on channel 160. Previously known simply as Eden, the channel remains available to viewers on Sky and Virgin Media.

U&Eden offers a range of factual and factual entertainment programmes, spanning natural history, science, engineering, and lifestyle genres. Notable shows include Expedition with Steve Backshall, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities, Abandoned Engineering, and Inside the Ambulance.

However, not all Freeview users will be able to access the channel. U&Eden is broadcast via Freeview’s only national DVB-T2 multiplex, meaning older Freeview boxes will not be compatible with the channel. The channel is not currently available on Freely.
