Sony Crime Channel (currently Sony Channel), can now be received free-to-air on the Astra 2F satellite.
Sony Crime Channel will launch on the 6th February 2018. The channel will be available on Freeview, Sky and Freesat from launch.
Sony Crime Channel hits TV screens with a slate of absorbing channel premieres including the Free-To-Air premiere of smash hit series, Orange is the New Black (s1-4); Jed Mercutio’s award-winning cop corruption drama Line of Duty (S1-3); the UK premiere of Real Detective: North of the Border; and crime show stalwarts such as Person of Interest, CSI, Deadly Women, Hustle and Law & Order.
To celebrate the launch night SPTN will broadcast Sony Crime Channel simultaneously across sister channels True Entertainment and truTV from 9pm in a special event designed to showcase the channel to the biggest audience. The simulcast stunt will feature a criminally good line-up starting with Person of Interest (s1 ep1) at 9pm, CSI (s11 ep1) at 10pm and the Free-To-Air premiere of Orange is the New Black (s1 ep1) at 11pm.
With a predominantly female audience, Sony Crime Channel will create a one-stop destination for crime fans to immerse themselves in the genre with a vibrant fusion of fascinating stories, heart-pounding thrills, engrossing characters and stunning reveals. It launches on Freeview 60, Sky 157.
