skySky has announced that their pay-TV service is now in over 9 million UK homes. Sky’s financial results for the three months ending 30 September 2008 highlight a net customer growth of 87,000, up 5% year on year, to 9.067 million, with new customer additions up 2% year on year.

The satellite broadcaster reported strong growth in its additional products, with Sky+ homes now reached over 4 million homes and Sky+HD enjoying record growth of 93,000 to 591,000 subscribers during the period. Sky Broadband is now in 20% of Sky homes while Sky Talk is in 15% of Sky households.
