Showcase TV, the satellite channel dedicated to niche programming is making a return to Freesat in June.
As part of a minor reshuffle of channels on Freesat, Showcase TV will be returning on the 9th June 2016 on channel 161, currently the home of YourTV.
Showcase acts as an incubation area for new TV formats and is currently the home to a range of programming relating to caravanning, boating and arts/crafts. The channel disappeared from Freesat earlier this year after country music channel Keep It Country took over its slot, and subsequently moved into the music section of Freesat’s channel guide.
