Motorsport TV has of December 1, 2017 become a free-to-air channel on satellite. Encryption on satellite has now been removed in time for live coverage of the Autosport Awards 2017 on Sunday 3rd December at 20:30 UK time.
Motorsport.tv UK is not currently available on Freeview or YouView. The channel experimented with these platforms to provide additional avenues for showing Motorsport.tv coverage in Britain. However, for various reasons this supplementary service did not match either their expectations or those of their partners, which led them to cease broadcasting on terrestrial tv in the UK.
Motorsport.tv UK is available to viewers throughout country on Sky channel 447 and Virgin Media channel 545. There has been to announcement on if or when the channel will be available on Freesat.
Satellite viewers can manually tune in the channel, available on the Astra 2 group of satellites at 28.2°E:
