Motive launches TabletTV UK
The app allows viewers to watch over-the-air Freeview channels, record programmes for time-shifted viewing and have red-button services on their tablet or mobile device without the need to be connected to the internet.
Currently available for iPads and iPhones, it will soon be joined by a version for Android tablets, with extensions to smartphones and other devices also planned.
Commenting on the launch, Leonard M Fertig, CEO of Motive, said: “The launch of TabletTV UK is an important milestone for Motive and for lovers of live television viewing. Personal live TV-viewing on tablets is a dramatic change in viewing habits and marks a continual sea change in the television industry. Motive is pleased to be an industry leader in making it possible for viewers to watch what they want, when they want and where they want.”
