Four music channels have been added to the Freesat line-up today.
Bauer Media’s Kiss TV, The Box, Smash Hits TV and Kerrang TV have been added, the channels recently went free-to-air on satellite. Previously, the channels were part of Sky’s Entertainment Extra pack.
Bauer’s Heat TV channel, which also went free to air earlier this month remains absent from the Freesat guide, there is currently no news on if or when heat will be included.
Only 4Music now remains encrypted as a free-to-view channel on Sky, it is not known if there are any plans for this channel to go free-to-air in the future. It does seem likely, considering all of Bauers other channels are already free-to-air.
The new Freesat channel numbers are:
New:
518 Kiss (TV)
519 The Box
521 Smash Hits (TV)
524 Kerrang! (TV)
