The new ITV channel ITVBe launched last night, which will become the new home of reality TV on the ITV network.
The channel started off with a two hour Welcome to ITVBe, hosted by Peter Andre and Jamelia, followed by The Only Way Is Ibiza, Towie: All Back to Essex, a sneak peek at show Ladies Of London and then an episode of Celebrity Dinner Date with Joe Swash.
One of ITVBe’s big shows is The Real Housewives of Cheshire, a spin-off from the US franchise that started with The Real Housewives of Orange County.
The ladies for the UK show will be; Divorced 33-year-old Ampika Pickston, WAG Dawn Ward – who is married to former Manchester City player Ashley Ward, Paul Simon’s other half Lauren Simon, Wes Brown’s wife Leanne Brown, 40 year-old Magali Gorré – who has been married to ex-professional footballer Dean Gorré for 21 years and mum to three Tanya Bardsley – who is married to Phil Bardsley, will all appear.
The channel will also screen The Ladies of London, a docu-series that follows a group of British socialites and American expats who mix in similar social circles.
