FreeSports coming to Freesat

FreeSports, the new free-to-air sports channel launching on August 31, has confirmed  that it will be available on Freesat.

Premier Sports and the former Setanta UK service, has confirmed that the channel will be on Freesat channel 252. The channel will also be available on Sky 424 and Freeview / YouView (BT/TalkTalk) channel 95. The channel is expected to reach around 22 million homes from launch.

Further information on sports genres to be broadcast on the channel have also been announced: FreeSports will feature Football, Rugby League, Tennis, Ice Hockey, MMA, Basketball, Cricket, Speedway, Nascar, Athletics and Wrestling.
