Under Edit channels you can edit all the channels in the channel list and customise Favourite lists.
Press EXIT to save changes and then confirm.
Press MENU and select Edit Channels using the arrow keys.
Select Edit Channel List and then press OK.
Channels can be moved and renamed in non-Freesat mode.
NOTE: In Freesat Mode, channels can be deleted, though not renamed or repositioned.
Edit Channel List
Select the channel you wish to delete and then press OK.
Press the RED button to delete.
NOTE: To restore a deleted channel go to Manual Tuning, go to Transponder and scan the frequency of the deleted channel.
If you are not sure of the frequency, choose All under Transponder, or do a Freesat Tune.
To Lock (Delete) Channels
Select the channel to be locked and then press OK. Press the GREEN button.
Select Lock and then press OK
To watch a locked channel you will be prompted for the password each time the channel is selected.
NOTE: The default password is 0000.
Selecting a Channel Group
Press the YELLOW button to display the list of groups. Select the desired group and press OK.
Select All / Release All Press the BLUE button.
Choose Select All and then press OK. To release channel from Select All, then press the OK button on the highlighted channel.
Edit Favourite List
Adding / Removing Channels Select the channels you want to add to the favourite channel list and press the OK button.
Press the RED button to add the channels to the favourite list you have chosen.
To remove channels from the favourite list, select the channels from the list and press the RED button.
Selecting a Favourites Group Press the GREEN button to display the list of groups.
Select the favourite group you want and press OK. Moving Favourite Channels Select the favourite channels to move within the favourite channel list and press the OK button.
Press the BLUE button.
Select Move and press the OK button.
Move the cursor to the destination using the arrow keys, and press the OK button.
The selected channel is moved to a new location.
NOTE: When the cursor is on the left column, the RED button is marked Add; when the cursor moves to the right column, it becomes Remove. Press the YELLOW button to select all channels in the favourite list. To release all channels, press the YELLOW button again. You can add or remove channels from the favourite groups, move favourite channels and rename favourite groups. Press the MENU button. Select Edit Channels using the arrow keys and press the OK button. Select Edit Favourite List using the arrow keys and press the OK button. NOTE: Edit Favourite List is deactivated in the non-Freesat mode.
Renaming Favourite List
Select the favourite group you want to rename and press the OK button. Press the BLUE button. Select Rename Group and press the OK button.
A keyboard will appear. Enter the name of the favourite group using the keyboard.
Press the YELLOW button to complete.
NOTE: The YELLOW and BLUE buttons become activated only when the cursor is placed on the right column.
Keyboard
There are two types of Keyboard available, normal layout and SMS style layout.
Type in the new name for the favourites group and press OK to save.
The Favourites list has now been renamed to HD CHANNELS.
Press BACK or EXIT on your remote and a notification will appear, prompting you to save changes.
‘Do you want to save all the changes?’ Press Yes to confirm.
Edit Customisable Channels
Select the channel from the left menu, this currently only applies to BBC One and BBC Two, it is not possible to select any other ITV regions, though all HD receivers will display ITV London on Freesat channel 977. The postcode will have to be changed first to get another ITV region, then customise the BBC regions afterwards.
There is currently no option to replace standard definition BBC One or BBC Two with the HD versions. Move the cursor to the right column and select an alternative channel of the region you wish to use and press OK on the remote.
The selected channel will be customised as the default channel of the chosen channel number.
You will then be prompted to save the change, once saved the changes will appear on the Freesat channel list/EPG (Electronic Programme Guide).
Searching for the satellite signal.
Currently, the only customisable channels available are BBC One and BBC Two standard definition versions.
There is currently no option to replace standard definition BBC One or BBC Two with the HD versions.
There are no options to change ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5 regional variations, these can only be changed by using another postcode.
