The new CITV Channel will be the most watched kids television station in the UK within 18 months ITV have said. The new station will be launching on Saturday March 11th and will broadcast many kids favourites old or new and delving deep into the ITV archive for some historical kids shows.
It will broadcast daily from 6am to 6pm while ITV4 is off air and will have block programming times, including 2 – 5 year olds and 6 – 9 year olds. The CITV Channel has a budget of around £35 million and will be up against many other kids channels including CBBC, CBeebies, Nickelodeon, Disney, Toonami and Fox.
