BT Sport Pack subscribers can now watch BoxNation as part of their existing package at no extra cost. Big time boxing has arrived at BT Sport with the addition of BoxNation to subscribers’ packages.
From today the UK’s only full-time boxing TV station is included for all BT TV and Sky TV customers with BT Sport Pack – at no extra cost.
BT customers who subscribe to BT Sport in HD will receive the BoxNation HD channel on their BT TV box (channel 439), as well as up to 20 fight nights in HD on the BT Sport channels. Talk Talk customers will get access via the Sport App.
Since it was launched in 2012, BoxNation has shown some of the biggest fights in the world, with stars such as Tyson Fury, Amir Khan, Gennady Golovkin and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez regularly featuring.
The channel also provides a number of popular magazine shows including ‘Bunce’s Boxing Hour’ and ‘BoxNation presents Cassius and Helder’.
The move is part a ground-breaking deal that will also see up to 20 Saturday Fight Nights per year shown on BT Sport, BTSport.com and the BT Sport app, including world, European and Commonwealth title fights.
The first event to be shown on both BT Sport and BoxNation will take place at Manchester Arena on Saturday April 8th and will feature a blockbuster card headlined by Terry Flanagan’s WBO world lightweight championship defence against Russia’s Petr Petrov.
A bumper night of boxing will also see former WBO world light-middleweight champion Liam Smith face long-time rival Liam Williams as well as the professional debut of double Olympic champion Nicola Adams.
