TRT World testing on Astra 2G

TRT World is testing on the Astra 2 satellites at 28.2°East, serving viewers in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
TRT World is the international news channel of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation.

TRT World is based in Istanbul, Turkey. It began broadcasting its high definition (HD) television signal on Turksat 3A satellite on 27 October 2015. TRT World is Turkey’s first English-language international television and digital media news service. TRT World has over 600 staff of 34 different nationalities, the channelfocuses on news and documentaries.

There is currently no information on when or if TRT World will launch on Sky and Freesat.
