Test transmissions for News UK’s new news and current affairs channel have begun on the Astra 2E satellite, prior to the channels launch this spring.
During the test period, talkRADIO TV is being carried on the frequency. When talkTV is not on air, talkRADIO  will be available on the channel.
TalkTV will be available on both Sky and Freesat, as part of its mission to be widely available in the UK. News UK says “everyone in the UK will be able to access the channel and its programming, live or on-demand, either on their television or on any personal device.”

TalkTV will feature nightly shows with Tom Newton-Dunn and Piers Morgan. Its schedule will also include factual programmes and a weekly satire show.
On satellite, the channel will be broadcast in HD, channel numbers and a launch date have to to date been confirmed.
