Sky is expanding its popular Online Video section on SkyQ, with new content from Comedy Central and VICE included.
As part of the expansion, viewers will also be to access video from Tastemade, Copa90, GINX eSports TV and Machinima, joining a line-up which already includes the likes of Funny or Die, Red Bull, GoPro and Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube, as well as James Corden’s online sensation Carpool Karaoke.
The short-form Online Video section is curated by Sky, and integrated into the intuitive Sky Q interface and grouped by theme, to make it easier for users to find content from the web.
Julia Barry, Sky’s Director of On Demand and Online Video, commented:
“We know that more and more people, of all ages, are watching more online video. Since we introduced our Online Video service on Sky Q, it has been incredibly popular, and it’s set to get even better. Now, whether customers are after quick laughs from Comedy Central, their football fix from Copa90, or the latest in gaming from Machinima, they can access it all from the world’s best home entertainment system, Sky Q.”
In addition to the great new content coming soon, Sky Q customers can also now enjoy all the best clips from the The Late Late Show with James Corden, including the smash hit Carpool Karaoke, featuring superstars like Adele, Justin Bieber and Michelle Obama.
Online video from VICE has also recently joined the service, meaning Sky Q customers can watch content from VICE’s globally popular digital channels including VICE.COM, VICE News, Motherboard and Munchies.
