ITV4+1 to launch

ITV4 will be given a timeshift channel by the end of the year. ITV4 +1 will launch on Sky and Freesat. On Sky it will occupy slot 180 and on Freesat it will be found in slot 118.
Virgin Media does not carry any of ITV’s timeshift service so ITV4 +1 will be exclusive to satellite. There are currently no plans for ITV4+1 to be carried on Freeview.

There will be no GMTV2 content on ITV4+1. GMTV2 will continue to be carried on ITV4, though this will not be carried on the timeshift channel, which will simply carry a caption between 07:00 and 10:24 stating that programming starts at 10:25.
