FreeSports delayed on Freesat

Freesat viewers will need to wait until the second week in September to gain access to Freesports.
On Twitter a spokesperson said “We’re launching on Freesat on the 12th September. Not the 11th September as we originally thought.”

The channel launched on Thursday morning on Freeview channel 95, 75% of the UK can receive Freesports on Freeview, though a DVB-T2 box or TV is required.

On Sky, technical changes occurred later in the day, followed by its addition on the Sky EPG on channel 424.

Virgin Media viewers  currently have no accesse the channel at present, as no carriage deal has been reached with Freesports.
